A very sad news for me

A colleague of mine sms me last night told me that our moderator in organization in college called Dunamis Empowered Youth passed away last night. Though she didnt mention what was the cause but i think i knew it, before i left in Davao to come here in US I heard that he got a wound from his one of his leg and became cancer, as I asked my colleague how is he she said he was doing fine at that time but after 8 months now I just know he passed away. I was really sad for him cause he is young I think he is in mid 30's. He was the nicest instructor in college ive known. Actually every meeting we had we always prayed and discuss alot of things about life, bible and God. As I was thinking, Im so blessed and thankful that im still alive and still continue battling from sadness and loneliness in this crazy world. Life is so hard and we need to survive. I always call God when im so depressed and feel lonely. But this is life. I know now why God let us feel all this feelings so we can call HIM anytime. What a life...

Just wanted to say a condolence to Mrs. De Vera and family. Though they cant read this post of mine and a heartily feel sorry for the loss of their loved one, I still want to say what i really feel.

Anyway, Ive been listening this music of Gary Valenciano. Lead me Lord. If you feel empty and feel no one besides you to comfort you just listen to the song and you will feel how God is so great and feel the healing power of God.

I feel exhausted

Good morning everyone, I woke up early today at 6:30am cause hubby had left to go to work. Its always been like that, but i feel so exhausted today though i had my day off yesterday. I dont know why maybe because im thinking so much this time. Im thinking to find a new job cause i dont like working in the mall anymore I always get stress in there. But I couldnt quit until I have a new job already. I have lots of plans for my family and for my self ofcourse including hubby. Oh God, how i wish i could find a job that im fit and i want. Oh well..I just want to share my feelings for today. I have to go to work at 11am-7:45pm again today. See yah guys!

On Christmas Eve

Last night on Christmas Eve we got a little party with my friends Michelle, Marilyn and hubby. At first I dont feel like to go out and talk to the girls cause im so tired from working all day but hubby keep asking me to go out and drink some beer. So i went out and talked to them. My hubby drink some beer so i decided to drink too and so my friends. It was really fun cause we decided to turn the music on and start dancing. My hubby was our photographer and he enjoyed taking us the pictures. Before we decided to sleep Michelle and Marilyn gave me gifts and I was so ashamed cuz I didnt have something to give for them cause i thought we will be sleeping last night.


Though my Christmas here is not that happy cause im far with my family but still I enjoyed it cause we had crazy move with my friends.

HI people I was so busy at work that I didnt got the chance to update my blog, Infact i just got home today from work gush the mall was so busy!! And now Im here in our room alone cuz my hubby still at work. Michelle and her husband my room mates are out and I dont what will be our plan. Until now Im waiting my sister to come online so atleast my lonel.iness will go away. Its really hard to be so far away with your family especially its my first time to be away from them. I wanted to cry but I know wont help...How i wish Im just home playing with my niece and nephews. Oh well...I want to say Merry Christmas to all of you. Hope everyone has a happy one.

Asteroid may hit Mars in next month

Mars could be in for an asteroid hit.

A newly discovered hunk of space rock has a 1 in 75 chance of slamming into the Red Planet on Jan. 30, scientists said Thursday.

"These odds are extremely unusual. We frequently work with really long odds when we track ... threatening asteroids," said Steve Chesley, an astronomer with the Near Earth Object Program at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

The asteroid, known as 2007 WD5, was discovered in late November and is similar in size to an object that hit remote central Siberia in 1908, unleashing energy equivalent to a 15-megaton nuclear bomb and wiping out 60 million trees.

Scientists tracking the asteroid, currently halfway between Earth and Mars, initially put the odds of impact at 1 in 350 but increased the chances this week. Scientists expect the odds to diminish again early next month after getting new observations of the asteroid's orbit, Chesley said.

"We know that it's going to fly by Mars and most likely going to miss, but there's a possibility of an impact," he said.

If the asteroid does smash into Mars, it will probably hit near the equator close to where the rover Opportunity has been exploring the Martian plains since 2004. The robot is not in danger because it lies outside the impact zone. Speeding at 8 miles a second, a collision would carve a hole the size of the famed Meteor Crater in Arizona.

In 1994, fragments of the comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 smacked into Jupiter, creating a series of overlapping fireballs in space. Astronomers have yet to witness an asteroid impact with another planet.

"Unlike an Earth impact, we're not afraid, but we're excited," Chesley said.

Five Reasons Your Office Is Bad for You

Most of us spend our working hours in environments we can't completely control, whether we're facing a cash register, a client, or a computer screen. And it's important to know that the little and not-so-little annoyances—from dry eyes to rushed lunches—can affect your health. If the prospect of Monday morning and another work day inspires a despairing moan, consider remedies other than quitting. Small adjustments can make a surprising difference in the quality of your day. Here are five of the biggest office health challenges and the best ways to beat them:

1. Sights for Sore Eyes. According to a study reported in the Survey of Ophthalmology, computer users risk tired, red eyes, burning and blurred or double vision. People blink up to 60 percent less often while looking at the screen, causing dry-eye symptoms. The cornea is also sensitive to office hazards like dry air, airborne paper dust and ventilation fans. To protect yourself, look away from the screen and at a distant object at least every 30 minutes. Use eye drops if you feel strain. And if you wear reading glasses and work at a computer more than an hour a day, researchers recommend a pair of glasses especially designed for the distance you normally sit from the screen.

2. A Pain in the Back. Sitting too long in a badly designed office chair can provoke both acute and chronic back pain. So with that in mind, remember your ergonomics. Adjust the height of your chair and keyboard and the distance from the computer screen. (Here are tips for making your workspace more ergonomic.) Psychology also plays a big role in chronic pain, according to a World Health Organization report by rheumatologist George Ehrlich. Back pain can be a sign that you're bored or unhappy at work. If you've adjusted your workstation, try getting more exercise outside work to improve your mood says Ehrlich.

3. Noises Off. A Cornell study found that even low-level noise in open-style offices results in more stress. After randomly assigning 40 experienced clerical workers to either a quiet, or a mildly noisy open-style office for three hours, the researchers measured and compared the amount of epinephrine, a stress hormone, in their urine. The workers in the noisier office were both more stressed and less likely to make ergonomic adjustments to their workstation. "One possible reason is that under stress, people focus in on their main task," says Cornell's Gary Evans, a leading expert on environmental stress. Dilbert-style cubicles don't necessarily do the trick: sound travels through the gaps and the walls create a false sense of privacy. Explain to cubicle neighbors that it's important for all of you to keep your voices (and any noisemaking devices) low. People who don't need to be on the phone constantly may find noise-canceling headphones to be a big help. There are also a number of products that aim to block conversational noise around cubicles. There hasn't been much scientific evidence to back up their claims, but they may be worth checking out if office chatter is making you crazy.

4. Desk-side Noshing. Eating out every day for lunch—or at your desk while distracted by e-mail and phone calls--tends to make you overeat and choose the wrong food. Try to brown-bag it and take enough time out so you can actually chew your food. And most importantly, stay far away from the desk with the candy dish or birthday cake. Studies show that the closer your proximity to those office snacks, the more likely you are to gain weight. 5. Bad Vibes. Research published in the Journal of Management Studies reports that Americans are especially likely to be bullied at work, yet only one in three of the victims identified themselves as targets. So what exactly counts as bullying? "Persistent intimidating, malicious, insulting or exclusionary behavior." says author Pamela Lutgen-Sandvik, of the University of New Mexico. Not only victims, but observers were more likely to report feeling stressed and dissatisfied with their jobs. Talking back to a bully typically aggravates the behavior, says Lutgen-Sandvik. A better strategy is to alert superiors, and if you can join forces with coworkers and complain as a group, you're twice as likely to succeed, Lutgen-Sandvik found. Of course, sometimes it's the boss administering the doses of workplace humiliation--small stresses that take a cumulative toll. If the bad moments on the job outnumber the good, the best health choice may be to start polishing your resume.

Jamie Lynn Spears says she's pregnant

Britney Spears sister Jamie Lynn Spears says shes pregnant. She's only 16 yrs old she told OK!Magazine that shes preggy and the father is her boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

She said "It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she said. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday.

What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex? "I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she told the magazine. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in."

After she found out from a doctor that she was pregnant, she said, "I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody."

"Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me," she said.

Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reported.

"She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears said. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive."

Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney's young sons, told the magazine: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

She said her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of her popular Nickelodeon series, has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school.

I got sick

Since the weather was bad for couple of days i got sick when i went to work yesterday. I kept sneezing, i have runny nose and cough. I had to give up my 4 hrs. to my Mexican friend so the time wont be waste. Im staying home right now trying to rest my body and i feel better now though im still coughing. I thought life would be better when you come to America but its the same when you're at home you can still feel the pain and its more because you're far to your family. How i wish im just home relaxing. Its true there's no place like home. So guys take care of your body avoid getting the flu.

This is the Day

As i read the Reader's Digest book I read a very helpful article. I just want to share it to all of you.

"This is the day to a walk or a stroll. A brisk pace wouldn't hurt, either. Its the day to take the long way around. Or maybe just the stairs. Because for each hour of regular, vigorous exercise, you could gain two hours of life expectancy. This is the day to get fit."

Sometimes I'm complaining that I take a walk to go somewhere I didn't know its good for ourself. So guys sometimes take a walk dont use your car just to go to nearest store it will help you live longer.

Charice is only 15 yrs old and was discovered from ABS-CBN when she joined Little Big Star hosted by Sarah Geronimo. Now, youtube.com uploader Falsevoice made her a video comparing Bianca Ryan( the Champion of Americas got talent) both singing "And I am telling you" made her famous and international. And, her video when she sung in StarKing a show in Korea made her more hit.

Even before i like Charise. She sing so good and powerful. She has the passion in singing. She was even my bet to win the grand prize in Little Big Star. But still, Charise is the best no matter what. Here is some videos to watch.

Im back!!

Guys how are you?Sorry I wasn't able to update my blog for I am so busy at my work. I am good now cause I am 90% know about the cash register. I thought I cant make it but as I saw the old Filipina ladies they work in T Mall for more than 1 yr. so I'm thinking if they can do it I can do it. And i always pray to God ask Him always to give me patience, understanding and wisdom, and He never failed me...I always come home relax and relieve cause i made another night without trouble. ohhhh, its not really easy to be a a breadwinner. I remember the customer an old Filipino guy said in Philippines, one member should sacrifice for the family. And that is really true, I myself know that ,since Im working now half of my paycheck go to my family. I don't know why I cant say NO to my family, maybe I just loved them all. Though I'm so far and miles away from them still my heart belongs to them. We can really tell Filipinos has big love for their families like me.
