I just got home from work today. It was crazy cause people are buying in rush hour. I got headache because i had to be fast in the register. And tomorrow it's my day off but they want me to work 5 hrs. So i just said yes so at least i can have extra bucks to send back home for Christmas.

And tomorrow, the street will be alive cause kids will be hanging around outside and do their Treat or Trick. Of course with costumes. I wish they do this in Philippines. I think kids will really have fun.

It's my second time to witness and see the kids outside with costumes. Ill be having fun watching those little fellas tomorrow.

I love my Magic Sing

Finally my dream to have a Magic Sing came true. Last paycheck, it was Friday, i finally bought the magic sing from ebay. I didnt wait for it actually but i picked it up. And the funny thing is, the store is just close by our place. Just somewhere in Eaglerock, in fact the building called a Philippine village.

I think i got a very good deal with it. I bought it for 2 mics, 3000 english songs, with leather hand carry bag, stand, song book of course and 1 chip for tagalog songs and a song book and plus a 10 vcd of variety songs.

I was thinking to buy the 1 mic with 2000 english songs for 145 bucks but i still have to buy a 60 bucks of chip for tagalog songs, so i decided to get the 2 mics cause its already included of tagalog songs and dont make a big difference.

So im so happy to got one, i can sing anytime and have fun. And on Christmas, me and hubby will spend some time to my friends house, so we will have a mini concert oh their place. Lol.

My Friday Off

Last night me and hubby did really enjoy the night we spent with a friend ate Myrna. Actually in the day time we had so much stuff. We went grocery, we went to Best buy to see the for sale laptop, we went to T-mobile store and we even went to Glendale Galleria and i bought Victoria Secret colognes.

After that we met Ate Myrna and ate dinner at Barrio Fiesta Eaglerock. I liek the place because it's all Filipino food and of course there's a lot of Filipinos with American partners. They have Videoke too. I forced my husband to sing his favorite song Makita kang muli. And im so proud of him cause he made it. I took video of him and i will post it later.

So i was happy last night and i wish i have my friends and family here too so ill be more happy.

My Saturday Off

And finally i got' a Saturday off from work. I had so much fun yesterday cause me and my friends went to some places. First, when we met we went to the mall and ate and we got to see and know how much the Magic Sing cost. And it's 185 bucks. I would say the price is right cause it has 2000 songs included. Im planning to get one on November cause on Christmas, me and hubby will gonna spend it to Jamaima's house. And we will gonna have a little concert since, i didn't sing the karaoke for a long time just like i used to do at home with my sister.

After malling we went to Salvation Army. It's a place where lots of used stuff re being sold very cheap, like clothing and household stuff. It's just like a garage sale. We all know that we Filipinos love to use Ukay-Ukay. Admit it. Im one doing that too when i was home.

I got good stuff like jackets for winter and blouses. My friends got some too and Jamaima got good shoes.

After that, we went to The Grove in West LA. It was a lot of people walking around there and eating, shopping and chillin. You can see a lot of branded clothes there. All the branded store is already there.

After that we ate at the Pizza place and went home. I'm so tired but i had fun.

I singed up for TFC

The advertisement on TV made me to signed up the TFC. Hubby called our cable provider Time Warner to know how much for the TFC subscription and since it's just only 11.95 dollars a month, i go for it. Now since last night i feel so happy and very feel at home to watch the TV patrol news and other telenovelas from ABS-CBN.

Financial Crisis in America

I can really tell that I'm affected with this financial crisis here in US. In fact, just last month i got more hours in my job. Mostly i can get at least 35hrs above in one week. But guess what happened? When they gave us the bad news about Lehman Brothers, my job almost drown too. From 35hrs, i only got 20 hrs now. From this week till next week. I dont know the next schedule yet since my company is the one making the said schedule.

Now I ended up having a straight 4 days off this week. That's very sad cause, im just wasting my time and my days doing nothing at all here at home. Im still trying to get other job but i dont know this will happen soon since most company and stores are closing and shutting down.

Im just hoping things will be better. I'm praying too that i can get another job to sustain my living. Though me and my hubby were not really hurting since his job is stable, Im just kinda sad or i could say im bored at home.

Oh well, i guess this is life. Sometimes there's up and down. I just wish that this coming next week will be OK for us.
